North Greenville allowed for me to grow in maturity and closer to God. Without a Christ-centered campus and amazing professors/staff I wouldn’t be the woman I am today.
SEE WHY OUR ALUMNI LOVE NGU
My best memory of NGU is the importance of keeping Christ first, and the fact that no matter where life takes us, we have a close college family to fall back on.
It was amazing! I love my alma mater, and it helped prepare me for ministry greatly!
The relationships you form with your professors. Each of my professors knew me on a first name basis and not only that you could always tell they truly cared for their students. On multiple occasions during my time at NGU I found myself in my professors’ offices just talking or praying over things going on in my life.
My overall experience was fantastic! I could not have asked for a better college experience. But it was more than that. The spiritual growth I experienced while there was amazing. I was challenged and inspired by everyone.
North Greenville had a profound impact upon my life. I went to NGU knowing God’s call upon my life. Through my education, I feel that what I learned in the classroom and through different experiences while a student has greatly impacted and influenced my life. I am glad that God put me at NGU the way he did. It wasn’t my first choice, but it was God’s choice for me. I knew that walking onto the campus for the first time. I made friendship that I will remember forever. I owe a lot to the people I have made an impact on my life. Most importantly, North Greenville came at the right time. I was learning to put God first and the people who impacted me at North Greenville reminded me to keep God first and demonstrated this as well.
I loved the NGU experience. The classes were challenging. But the professors were always willing to help. I absolutely love that NGU isn’t like most colleges. I like that NGU has rules so that they can’t do things they could do at “normal” colleges. My best experience is walking across that stage December 2015. When I was a freshman I thought I was gonna give up and quit. But 4.5 years later I made it.
The environment is so positive. There are genuine and Christlike people everywhere. NGU was probably the best college experience I could have had. I learned a lot about being an adult. I learned a lot about ministry and the fact that most of it can’t be taught in a book. I had professors who invested in me and cared about me.
This school is unique in that it truly feels like a family. I feel like the friends I have made here at NGU have become my family; my home away from home.
My best memory is so hard to pick one! I loved all of the unique ministry opportunities I had while at NGU. I was on a weekend Impact team, allowing me to do youth retreats at churches all over the state. I was also in the BSU praise band/choir, allowing me to lead in worship every week at BSU, and we also got to lead worship throughout the state for different college and youth events.
